Nature for Inspiration
I've enjoyed a wonderful break from routine and am feeling refreshed and inspired after some soulful time in nature. Lake Mungo National Park (north-east of Mildura) had been on my list of places I had wanted to visit and it was great to finally make the road trip there. It is a place of great cultural significance to indigenous Australians and is one of the most important archaeological sites in Australia.
I also stopped in at the Pink Lakes at Murray Sunset National Park, pictured below (pink pic shows emu prints on the salt lake) Lake Mungo Lunette pictured above.
I love the other-worldly landscapes of the desert and my inner artist draws inspiration from places where you can access vast vistas with nothing man-made in sight. Even though I live in the peaceful hills of South Gippsland, the peace and timelessness of the desert is something else again.
So today I've prepared a visual newsletter in the hope that you may find some sort of inspiration, whatever that might be. Even if it serves as a reminder that the great outdoors is never far away and spending time in nature is a beautiful way to relax, recharge and feel connected to the whole of life.
